In Crisis Times God’s Priorities Don’t Change

Like the separatist Pilgrims who fled religious persecution in their homelands to courageously face an untamed wilderness 400 years ago right now, we are facing a challenge of giant proportions. Can we dare to proclaim, “Thank you Almighty God for your abundant mercy and your grace to lead us on?” Despite the dismal failure of our generation’s Christian leaders to teach us to disciple our own nation and amplify the knowledge and authority of God’s Holy Word in our current society, God is working behind the scenes. It appears that He is using the multi-faceted crisis whirling around us to inspire His true disciples to seek the face of God more fervently than ever.

Before the Reformation the idea of personal liberty was completely foreign to their thinking. They were subjects of their king, who owned everything. That’s why the American constitutional principle of “We the People” having the liberty to be accountable to our society at large, enabled our nation to become the most exceptional nation to ever exist on earth. It is also what led to the battle cry of the soldiers of the Revolutionary War: “No king but Jesus.”

So, he himself stepped in to save them with his strong arm, and his justice sustained him.” Isaiah 59:14-16

God’s People are Rediscovering our Legacy of Spiritual Warfare in a Corrupt Society

Almighty God is capable of equipping His saints with the Truth only if they will listen to it and do it. Faith without corresponding actions is dead – useless, powerless. Jesus said in His prayer for His disciples, “sanctify them (set them apart as your peculiar people) by the Truth. Your Word is Truth” (John 17:17).
When his disciples asked Jesus to increase their faith amidst the challenges of their lives, we must remember the Biblical solution to that need. Paul made it clear in Romans 10:17 that “faith comes by hearing, and (specifically) by hearing the word of Christ (the Messiah – God’s anointed only Redeemer of all mankind).

And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find (the) faith on the earth?” Luke 18:6-8

Has God lost control of this world? Are we all doomed to become cyborgs?
