In the providences of the Most High God, we can see in the events of history… many parallels with how God’s redemption reflect familiar Bible accounts. The many disturbing events that led up to God’s virtually miraculous restoration of President Trump to the leadership of what we call the modern ‘free world’ have been difficult for all of us to experience. But… without them we would not have the exposure of the evil that has been secretly behind the scenes of so much wickedness in our world. And now that the great awakening of millions of people across the world has begun, we have more reason than ever to expect that God is leading the remnant warriors in His kingdom to participate in the salvation of millions who will be equipped to fight the good fight of spiritual warfare to destroy the works of the devil in our time. Do you recall how the LORD’s word to Moses encouraged the people in Deuteronomy as they prepared to begin the conquest of the promised land full of giant enemies of Yahvay?

America’s highly popular president, Donald Trump, despite the extreme hatred of his anti-God enemies, has been elevated to perhaps the greatest favor of any president since Abraham Lincoln. But… it’s not about him. Knowing of God’s incredible love for this lost world, when we see his hand of mercy so intimately intervene in the life of the most watched man in the world today, we must realize that the discussion being bantered about by billions of people is not just focused on a man… not even on one nation.  God’s intervention in one of the potentially darkest moments in the history of the USA, is possibly as consequential as any one of the remarkable interventions of God in the history of leaders whose stories are recorded in Scripture. Remembering how God humbled the mighty king of Babylon in the days of Daniel causes us to pray that today’s leader in the ‘bull’s eye’ of global attention would declare with Nebuchadnezzar,

…the signs and wonders which the Most High God has done for me…” (Dan. 4:2).

Churches all over the world are often accustomed to proclaiming on the day we call “Easter”, “The Lord is Risen… followed by the refrain, “The Lord (or He) is risen INDEED!”  This is the message…

Since ancient times, human societies have had an awesome wonder for eclipses of both the Sun and the Moon. Though a total eclipse of the Sun may last only minutes, the entire event of the moon’s shadow moving across the Earth, takes a couple of hours. That spectacle has quite often been construed as an omen that indicates an impending miracle, or the wrath of God, or, most frequently, the doom of a ruling dynasty.
