With spiritual eyes, it is clear that the outrageous corruption of politicians is demonically inspired. So, how are the righteous to respond? The widespread deception of the news media is demonically inspired. The open dishonesty that has prevailed in this country’s indoctrination institutions that we call public education is demonically inspired. All this, now publicly obvious distortion of reality is crystal-clear evidence of a long-term war between Truth and lies. It can be a discouraging discovery of the spiraling conflict of good and evil – destroying liberty and increasing smothering captivity. It’s the very confrontation of devilish attacks against the kingdom of God, the King of all kings.
When your society seems to have gone mad with wicked depraved ideas, you are being challenged to make choices. Will you allow yourself to be herded like sheep to the slaughter? Will you go with the flow and take your family by the seemingly easy path into the net of destruction? Or will you gather the courage to seek out the truth that will set you free no matter what the cost?
Are we motivated by Faith or by fear?
I have no doubt that all of us are being motivated to pray for God’s help in our perplexing times of need. But are we praying in fear or in faith?
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
The fact that the battle to preserve our society of liberty is a spiritual war against demonic principalities in high places is more evident now than ever before in our lifetime. The question is – will God’s people who are called by His name not only humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, but will they be the preserving salt of influence on our society or will they continue to be ‘trampled’ by society’s mountains of influence?
The Power of Keeping People in Darkness (ignorant)
The gross darkness of ignorance that prevails in today’s world results from one thing: deliberate re-education. Historic disciples of Marx, Lenin and Mao know very well that society-wide ignorance depends on the perversion of true history, and the censoring of moral truth found in God’s Word. Paul insisted that Christ followers “prove all things.” Why? Faith (in God, the Bible or all truth) comes by hearing the Word of God! Without a clear and spoken declaration of relevant, Christ glorifying words (Rhema) of God’s timeless truth, people are lost in confusion, deception, and pop culture entertainment. It’s all devoid of substance that challenges us to seek God.
At the start of Jesus’ 3-year project of discipling his 12 chosen men, we learn that “…they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.” Mark 1:22
In times of relative peace and quiet, the virtue of courage is often unseen and little spoken of. But when the pressure is on; when the conflict of good and evil is raised for all to see; when the dangers and threats of evildoers are brazen and menacing, then courage arises in those who are empowered with personal knowledge and experience.
Jesus communicated confidence with authority, not just because he had personal conviction. He had deep intimate knowledge of the truth that He spoke. He dwelt in the shelter of the Most High. He displayed the epitome of courage because He was in tune with the Father and only did what He saw Him do.
Have you been amazed at how so many people can be so easily deceived? Even people who seem to be fairly even-tempered and practice common sense are surprising some of us when they reveal that they have bought into various common lies in today’s culture. It seems sometimes that many people have completely lost their minds. They’ve lost their ability to think… to reason… to discern what’s really true. So consequently, confusion prevails. And where confusion prevails you inevitably have a pandemic of fear. And when people are prone to fear they tend to make hasty and bad choices. And that only leads to more confusion plus a flood of hopelessness. They are set up to bow to a false authority, promising them deliverance and unable to deliver it, or they are prepared to hear good news that can change their lives for eternity.
Jesus predicted in two of the gospel accounts that “false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24, and Mark 13:22). When we see how effective the main stream media has been at persuading half the population of the entire world into the most spectacular deception in history, perhaps we can be more discerning.
Have you ever thought about the actions that are taken by those who survive and win when under attack in a war between God and evil?
The brilliant Christian philosopher of the 20th Century, C. S. Lewis wrote, “You never know how much you really believe anything until its truth or falsehood becomes a matter of life and death to you.”
Dr Simone Gold, MD, JD spoke at Godspeak Calvary Chapel in Ventura, California. It was posted on YouTube Oct 29, 2021 but censored by YouTube.
Can you think of times in history when victory seemed remote and defeat was all around? What is God saying to His Ekklesia – his true family of believing members of the body of Christ – in the midst of the pervasive darkness and fear that is so obvious in today’s world? One would have to be completely unaware of history and current events to not see that the challenges facing the human race today are historic. And, if you’re a child of God, following the Lord Jesus Christ as His disciple, you’d have to be spiritually asleep to not perceive that God is preparing His true church for unusually special times of living in the conscious awareness of His sovereign guidance, God-glorifying purpose and victorious destiny.
We’ve been praying fervently that God raise up a generation of warriors willing to fight in this historic battle against wicked forces. Those forces are operating through satanically inspired enemies of all that is good and Godly. And it takes all kinds of equipped and faithful soldiers to fight in the many fronts of this war.
Are you in yet? If you are, you better know why you fight. And it’s not about you. You know very well that soldiers are called into battle to defend the defenseless. If selfless courage doesn’t motivate you to fight the battle raging today, whether on your knees or with your strengths and skills, then you are simply accommodating the enemy by your slackness.
The war being fought in our world today has come out in the open. It’s come out in the open because the enemy has been emboldened. It’s a war between two kingdoms and we should know it better than most. Evil wickedness is on the rampage against God’s kingdom of truth and light.
How can Christ-followers respond honestly and Biblically to the 2020 “Plandemic?” We are all awakening to realities most of us never dreamed were possible. But as we awaken, as believers, we look to the Bible for patterns of how God has dealt with His people in the past. And we learn more about how to trust him and act in obedience to Him rather than to the fearful things going on in the world. When you think about it… really think about it… the season of each year when we celebrate the remarkable advent of our Creator’s incarnation that we call Christmas… it’s truly amazing how God, in His providence, can use this season every year to personally communicate and commune with our deepest soul. Even with all the distracting commercialism and misguided paganized myths that our society has amassed around the occasion, God is still profoundly using the Christmas season to bring light into the darkness of many minds whom He has chosen to receive eternal redemption. What a gift!
The beloved disciple John, guided by the Holy Spirit of God, recorded the event straight to the point in the opening of his gospel. He even showed the distinction between the Savior from the man, who also had the name John – the baptizer – who announced the anticipated Redeemer’s entry into our world. He wrote it this way.
