Americans Rediscovering their Covenant with God

By Dennis Petersen

Are you ready to help people rediscover America’s covenant with God?

America’s people have been dumbed down deliberately by a secular and demonic agenda to make us all ignorant of truth, ignorant of common sense, ignorant of Scripture, and particularly ignorant of our own history.  We should all know the fact that God’s prophet clearly prophesied that His own people (“My people” He said) “are destroyed for a lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). When we speak that message, it can be a prophetic wake-up call for those who might be listening closely to what we’re saying. But another problem is that many, in the true Ekklesia of God, lack the mature personal mentors who can coach them to be guided by the Holy Spirit.  We all need that guidance to discern what is true, and to learn from the events and lives of the past that are able to witness to the incredible grace and power of God.

A Free society Requires a Righteous People who appoint Righteous Accountable Leaders

Would you agree that the People of American society are able to be the effective core of our civil government, only when we participate in the process of informing, educating, and training our families and fellow citizens to live as the true “We the People?”  But for us as Christians, that raises an even more basic premise. How can we be ‘salt and light’ to civil society, if we are not actively asserting our role in filling our assignments in the body of our Messiah’s Ekklesia?  And by using that word – “Ekklesia” – I’m not talking here about just attending ‘church’ on Sunday.  Yes, it’s true that the Greek word “Ekklesia” is translated in English Bibles as the word church. But we all know that most people think of “church” as the building we go to… or the name of the event we attend on Sundays.  Oh yes, they might think of “church” as the institution of our denomination with all its hierarchy and programs.  But these are not what Jesus said He would “build” when He commended His disciple Peter for the declaration that Jesus is “the Messiah (or Christ), the Son of the living God” (Matt 16:16).

How do I find a faithful Biblical church daring to stand up for Truth in a dysfunctional society?

I recently received an Email from a ministry friend, expressing the dilemma of a family, experiencing an increasingly common frustration with the irrelevance and shallowness of their otherwise satisfying local church. Amber and her family had been at their church five years. They enjoyed the congregational worship experience every Sunday. The people were friendly. Bible verses were sprinkled through the sermon. But the pastor didn’t seem to be addressing what was happening in the world around her. Nothing in the activities of the church even attempted to show interest in what her kids were facing in school. She heard about a simple test you can ask your pastor to fill out online to find out what your church really believes and what they actually plan to teach on.  She thought, “No problem—my pastor won’t mind.”  But when she and her husband used the website to send an email, their pastor dodged it.
