Understanding the Culture with historian, Bill Federer – Part 2

Isn’t it remarkable how the events recorded in God’s Word can often provide insight for the roots of discord that our generation faces even today?

After Gideon died in the book of Judges, the people of Shechem gave a wicked son of Gideon seventy pieces of silver … which he used to hire worthless and reckless fellows, who followed him.

In his historical review of how wicked rulers of the past used identity politics and community organization tactics to gain power, Bill Federer explains at a recent series of presentations he did for Pastor Jack Hibbs some very eye-opening principles. Seeing how notable villains of history built a pattern for modern treachery helps us all identify some of the subtle schemes the devil is using to condition impressionable people to follow immoral, illegitimate elitists until God’s providence uses others to overthrow them. Watchmen are Assigned to Warn their Community of Danger

Did you hear about the horrific Texas traffic accident involving over a hundred vehicles because of surprising glare ice on the road? A half dozen people died and over a hundred were injured, some with life debilitating injuries.

Now, if you had the knowledge that the road up ahead was so dangerous that it could cause the death of everyone going that way, wouldn’t you do everything in your power to stop everyone from rushing toward their destruction? Of course, you would. Who wouldn’t?  That’s just common humanitarian consideration for our fellow man. You’d have good reason to question the ethics or sanity of anyone who wouldn’t do that, wouldn’t you?

The Light of God’s Truth is breaking through the dark clouds into today’s valley of the shadow of death

Isn’t it interesting how God’s Word can have fresh application even though we know it has specific revelation? He provides insight for His people in every era of history in unique ways according to the times in which we live.

Isaiah 9:2 tells us “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.” We realize that Jesus, our Messiah, is the fulfillment of that prophesy.  But it’s amazing how the light of Jesus, through His Holy Spirit can specially encourage His people even when they walk through their own unique lands “of the shadow of death.”

“For nothing is concealed that will not become evident, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.”  Luke 8:17

Propaganda Exposed – The Make-Believe World is About to Collapse

Have you wondered recently… how much longer the insanity of absurdity can continue in our generation? What used to be understood as ‘fantasyland’ and ‘make-believe,’ has so badly dissolved many people’s ability to think rationally, that they lack the capacity to figure out that boys can never be girls and spider-man is just imaginary.

The unfortunate consequence is that we have had a large segment of society that for years has actually supposed that stores wouldn’t sell us poisons in our foods, and that corrupt politicians and unelected bureaucrats know what’s best for our well-being.

But that’s all changing.

How must God’s People be a Calming Influence in a Society filled with Fear?

There are lots of things I’ve learned, as I grew into adulthood and fatherhood.  One that sticks out to me seems to be missed by a lot of people who have not learned yet how to avoid being dominated by fear.  The present crisis in our world really seems to accent this fact.  Simply stated it’s this: “what we don’t understand, we tend to fear.” It’s pretty common, isn’t it?  If you don’t understand how to use a dangerous tool – like a knife or a gun – it’s perfectly natural to keep your distance from that tool because of an indescribable fear.  Once you learn how to use the potentially dangerous tool correctly, you still maintain a healthy respect for the tool, but you don’t have a psychotic fear of it anymore.

Have Confidence in God’s Justice for His Nation as His-story is being made #318

With spiritual eyes, it is clear that the outrageous corruption of politicians is demonically inspired. So, how are the righteous to respond? The widespread deception of the news media is demonically inspired. The open dishonesty that has prevailed in this country’s indoctrination institutions that we call public education is demonically inspired. All this, now publicly obvious distortion of reality is crystal-clear evidence of a long-term war between Truth and lies. It can be a discouraging discovery of the spiraling conflict of good and evil – destroying liberty and increasing smothering captivity. It’s the very confrontation of devilish attacks against the kingdom of God, the King of all kings.

How are the righteous to respond?

Common Sense to Turn ON the Lights comes from Righteousness and Truth

When your society seems to have gone mad with wicked depraved ideas, you are being challenged to make choices.  Will you allow yourself to be herded like sheep to the slaughter?  Will you go with the flow and take your family by the seemingly easy path into the net of destruction? Or will you gather the courage to seek out the truth that will set you free no matter what the cost?

Are we motivated by Faith or by fear?

I have no doubt that all of us are being motivated to pray for God’s help in our perplexing times of need. But are we praying in fear or in faith?

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

2 Timothy 1:7

Why Christians must Engage the Culture to Influence voting in America?

The fact that the battle to preserve our society of liberty is a spiritual war against demonic principalities in high places is more evident now than ever before in our lifetime.  The question is – will God’s people who are called by His name not only humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, but will they be the preserving salt of influence on our society or will they continue to be ‘trampled’ by society’s mountains of influence?

The Power of Keeping People in Darkness (ignorant)

The gross darkness of ignorance that prevails in today’s world results from one thing: deliberate re-education.  Historic disciples of Marx, Lenin and Mao know very well that society-wide ignorance depends on the perversion of true history, and the censoring of moral truth found in God’s Word.  Paul insisted that Christ followers “prove all things.” Why?  Faith (in God, the Bible or all truth) comes by hearing the Word of God! Without a clear and spoken declaration of relevant, Christ glorifying words (Rhema) of God’s timeless truth, people are lost in confusion, deception, and pop culture entertainment. It’s all devoid of substance that challenges us to seek God.
