Have Confidence in God’s Justice for His Nation

By Dennis Petersen

With spiritual eyes, it is clear that the outrageous corruption of politicians is demonically inspired. So, how are the righteous to respond?

The widespread deception of the news media is demonically inspired. The open dishonesty that has prevailed in this country’s indoctrination institutions that we call public education is demonically inspired. All this, now publicly obvious distortion of reality is crystal-clear evidence of a long-term war between Truth and lies. It can be a discouraging discovery of the spiraling conflict of good and evil – destroying liberty and increasing smothering captivity. It’s the very confrontation of devilish attacks against the kingdom of God, the King of all kings.

How are the righteous to respond?

With all the opinions and disinformation flying around, how do you know who to trust?  Even if you’ve abandoned the propaganda of main stream network media – which you should have done long ago by now – we all need careful discernment as we navigate the many channels of religious programming and truth-telling sources on the Internet. I’ll share some that I find informative and Biblically trustworthy at the end of this episode (and at today’s post on the Reclaim Your Legacy dot com website).

In Psalm 20:7 King David says, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.”

In today’s American society, you could say some believe in the flashy “chariots” of main stream public media, public education and big-network news analysts – those are the carriers of disinformation and propaganda.  Others put their trust in the opinions of strong, influential politicians and celebrities. What will we declare is the solid rock of our trust?

Will you agree with King David’s declaration of Psalm 31:6? “I have hated those who regard useless idols; But I trust in the LORD.”

Are we willing to abide by such a strong commitment as the “man with a heart after God?” Can we say that we hate the people who listen to (regard) and bow their allegiance to the idolatries of our culture?

The challenge we all face now is how to apply that principle of “trusting in the Lord.” It does require child-like faith to trust in the Lord, as we mature in Christ, but it’s much more than that. It’s imperative that we follow – actually do – the commands of our King – Jesus Christ. That way we can become increasingly responsive to the momentary guidance of His Holy Spirit. He promised He will never leave us or disown us, right?  This requires abiding – being at home with and constantly living – in our Lord’s Word so that we can become set apart – sanctified – by that word just as Jesus interceded for us and as He continues to do (John 17:17). There are so many exhortations in the empowering scriptures of the new testament that reinforce this directive for us – His saints (set apart ones).  One is at the end of Peter’s second letter.

“beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).”

It’s clearly a life-long process of God’s continuing transformation as we refuse to be “conformed to this world” and, rather, “be transformed by the renewing of our mind, so that we may prove what is that good… and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). This means we need to think – to use our minds – in discovering the “mind of Christ (1 Co. 2:16).” That’s the way we leave behind the worldly way of thinking like a “natural man.”  Then we can increasingly embrace “spiritual” thinking so that we can rightly judge and discern all things (1 Corinthians 2:14-15). It takes daily conscious effort to reject the thinking of the corrupted natural man. Listening to God’s faith-building word is the purifying factor that renews our mind.

More and more God-fearing people in America are beginning to awaken to a reality they didn’t give much thought to in the past. They’re finding that engagement in discussion and activism in the marketplace of public policy ideas is a patriotic imperative for all law-abiding Americans. Do you think you make an effort to obey the laws of the land? If you do, how do you think those laws are made? Are you happy with increasing laws and bureaucratic regulations that make your life increasingly pressured by costs you didn’t agree to? How do you feel about laws that impose ungodly immoral values on your children and grandchildren? If the government decides to re-settle illegal aliens with possible criminal records into your neighborhood, it’s likely too late to do anything about it. If they offer tax breaks or rewards to your neighbors for snitching on you because you host a Bible study in your living room, are you going to start researching how you can change the government regulations?

Thomas Jefferson said,

“A well informed citizenry is the best defense against tyranny.”

Do you have a copy of the Bible handy? Do you know what it says about our part in civic law and order? Do you have a copy of the US constitution handy? Do you know what it says about how the government is to be regulated to protect the rights of “we the people?”

18th Century British member of parliament, Edmund Burke, wrote:

“All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.”

“Why do the nations rage and the people plot in vain. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed.”

Do you know where that question is found in the Bible? Do you know what the Bible says is God’s response to those plots of nations against the Lord?

“He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Now, therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.”

Psalm 2:1-4, 12; ESV

Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”

“If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:13-14

Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”

Luke 7:35 “Wisdom is justified by all her children”

Proverbs 15:2 “The tongue of the wise makes knowledge acceptable, but the mouth of fools spouts folly.”

John 16:12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.”

Psalm 31:15 “My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!”

Proverbs 28:1 “The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion.”

Why is that?  Could it be due to being informed?

Jeremiah 4:22 could easily apply to many of God’s people in American churches today:

“For My people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are silly children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.”

Jeremiah 4:22

In Romans 15:4 Paul tells us “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”

Does God’s Word give us counsel on today’s leadership crisis?

In the providence of God working through His people down through history, there have been several notable turning points when Satan inspired illegitimate subversions to God’s anointed plan for leadership of the people of God. We might think of Absalom’s rebellion to take the crown of his father, King David, but there is another incident that gets only little attention. It happened years later when king David was about to die in his old age. And it was the handsome younger brother of Absalom who decided he should be king instead of his father’s chosen son, his half-brother, Solomon.

His name was Adonijah. Some of Israel’s influential and trusted leaders (Joab, one of David’s leading military commanders, and Abiathar the priest) aided the treasonous conspiracy. For a short time, it appeared publicly that the people were celebrating the dishonest supplanting of the kingship by Adonijah. But then the royal family and the faithful officials of David’s kingdom assertively installed the truly chosen leader of the people, King Solomon. It appeared for a brief time that Israel had two kings. And it didn’t take long for the public perception to change. They finally saw that an attempted insurrection had been reversed by God’s righteously ordered choice for their nation’s king.

Paul consoles believers with a particular instruction in Romans 16, writing: “I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil. And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. (Ro. 16:9-10).”

Most of us Bible-believing Christians have no problem believing what the prophet Daniel said,

“Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things…”

Daniel 2:20-22

America has no king but “we the people.” We understand that. But we have no reason not to believe that God sovereignly orchestrates the rise and the fall of heads of state like the head of America’s executive branch of government – the president of the United States. And regardless how corrupt the political parties have become; the one sacred cherished constitutional guarantee of our republic has always been the confident trust of our citizens in the fairness and honesty of our free elections.

Two Big Questions for us all to know about ourselves

I have two questions for you. First – If the choice of the American electoral system for the presidency is fraudulently usurped by an illegitimate criminal, in secret conspiracy with foreign enemies of the nation’s sovereignty, do you believe that God is a party to fraud?

My next question for you to think about is more personal. By what standard could a law-abiding citizen justify his own affirmation, backing, or acceptance of an illegitimate usurper being shielded by a corrupt and complicit league of dishonest scoundrels who are in open coalition with outside enemies to dismantle our nation’s sovereignty?

Do you really want to put yourself in the position of a weak-kneed coward, giving consent to an illegitimate pretender as the executive officer of the most powerful nation in the world?

Do not think that you’re being innocent in what is evil when you concede to an illegitimate conspiracy that has overtaken your peers through propaganda.  God has no part in it. And neither should you if you claim to uphold righteousness.

Ephesians 5:11 “Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.”

Matt 10:26 “But don’t be afraid of those who threaten you. For the time is coming when everything that is covered will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all.”

Isn’t it revealing to see how clearly God is exposing the utter futility of corrupted governments and elite powers in earthly dominions?  His people are rising in concerted intercession. Tens of millions of God-fearing citizens are interceding to Almighty God in this country and in other countries. They are declaring God’s truth – shining light on this world’s evil darkness. Are we seeing that the enemy’s works are about to be exposed on a scale that many of us have prayed for over years of intercession for our generation?

We may not know or understand all the ways that God’s providence can turn around what looks like a hopeless situation when wicked and ungodly rulers are ignoring God and oppressing His people.  But God, in His mercy, confirms by His prophet Amos that… “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). And His prophets have emphatically and unanimously reaffirmed that treasonous fraud will not sustain an illegitimate presidency of the United States of America. Indeed, if the reestablishment of our true constitutional republic is publicly revealed, we will be in for a whole new chapter in this country’s history. In God’s providence, interceding patriots will see the dawning of a new reformation. The long-awaited harvest depends on the sovereign outpouring of God’s Spirit for a 3rd Great Awakening. Millions of souls drawn to Jesus Christ, seated on the throne of heaven, will transform a new younger generation as He brings all His enemies under His footstool.

Note: See the Constitution of the United States of America, 14th Amendment, Article 3 – Ratified by the required three-fourths of states on 9 July 1868.

“No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”

The 59th chapter of Isaiah seems alarmingly accurate in describing our wayward nation today. But insight and mercy in this prophetic word give us hope.

1 Listen! The LORD’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call.

2 It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away

and will not listen anymore.

3 Your hands are the hands of murderers, and your fingers are filthy with sin.

Your lips are full of lies, and your mouth spews corruption.

4 No one cares about being fair and honest. The people’s lawsuits are based on lies.

They conceive evil deeds and then give birth to sin.

Verse 7 exposes more… Their feet run to do evil, and they rush to commit murder.

They think only about sinning. Misery and destruction always follow them.

8 They don’t know where to find peace or what it means to be just and good…

9 So there is no justice among us, and we know nothing about right living.

We look for light but find only darkness. We look for bright skies but walk in gloom…

12 For our sins are piled up before God and testify against us.

Yes, we know what sinners we are.

13 We know we have rebelled and have denied the LORD. We have turned our backs on our God.

We know how unfair and oppressive we have been, carefully planning our deceitful lies.

14 Our courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found.

Truth stumbles in the streets, and honesty has been outlawed.

15 Yes, truth is gone, and anyone who renounces evil is attacked.

The LORD looked and was displeased to find there was no justice.

16 He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed.

So he himself stepped in to save them with his strong arm, and his justice sustained him.

17 He put on righteousness as his body armor and placed the helmet of salvation on his head.

He clothed himself with a robe of vengeance and wrapped himself in a cloak of divine passion.

18 He will repay his enemies for their evil deeds. His fury will fall on his foes.

He will pay them back even to the ends of the earth.

19 In the west, people will respect the name of the LORD; in the east, they will glorify him.

For he will come like a raging flood tide driven by the breath of the LORD.

20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion to buy back those in Israel who have turned from their sins,” says the LORD.

21 “And this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your children’s children forever. I, the LORD, have spoken!

Psalm 97:2 reminds us that “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.”

Let God’s Word revive our hope when darkness seems to be extinguishing the light. The light will prevail.

The illegitimately installed administration has swiftly reaffirmed its intent to marginalize, if not criminalize all the patriots who do not agree with their tyrannical agenda to complete the deconstruction of the freedoms, values, and fundamental principles of America’s founders and our constitution. They intend to ‘re-educate’ the opponents of their Marxist ideology. But they underestimate the resolve of the remnant of patriots who dare to persevere with their convictions.

If God is to use our honestly elected President Trump in the process of His miraculous deliverance from the evil being schemed by the Devil’s wicked and willing slaves, we should pray for his wife, Melania, for full release and confidence to encourage her husband to do what God’s sovereignty is enabling him to do… Remember Mordecai’s words to Esther in Esther 4:13-14.

“Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”

Esther 4:13

Millions are praying like never before. Jesus said the wheat and the “tares” (weeds) will grow up together until the reaper puts in the sickle to reap the harvest at the end. As the darkness grows darker, the Light grows brighter. Things are shaping up for an awakening of souls to eternal life that will be glorious.

Let’s not conform to the world of cowards who are fearing the gloom of national judgment. Indeed, if that were our expectation, we should be preparing today for the world to fall into a terrifying age of darkness. Why not look for the hints that God is raising up a new generation of warriors?  By God’s grace and with our help, they will be equipped to rebuild the ancient foundations of truth. They will provide restorative authority of Christ’s Holy Spirit to overcome the confused insanity of the enemies of God.

I will be sharing here on Reclaiming Your Legacy, in the coming weeks, how being equipped with the truth and facts of God’s providence, will contribute to our confidence to prevent the calamity that would otherwise fall on believers and their communities.

Jesus promised in Luke 12:2-3, “The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!”

Therefore, when we see our beloved country being stolen, defiled and “fundamentally transformed” as it is right now, right-thinking Americans feel compelled to defend her. But how? World Net Daily editor, David Kupelian provides good insight at the link below, from which these points came.

In every area of life, Americans must bear up with grace and dignity to fight the good fight. Citizens, the ultimate sovereigns in America’s unique constitutional system, may be tempted to “drop out of politics.” We must do the opposite. We must vigorously exercise our sacred rights of voting, free speech, free association, freedom of worship, and to “petition the government for a redress of grievances” in every legal and moral way.

Unlike virtually all other nations, the essence of America is not a common ethnicity but a common spirit – a grateful, moral, entrepreneurial, freedom-loving, generous, essentially Christian spirit, which needs to burn more brightly now in America than ever.

No real and lasting recovery is possible for America without a genuine spiritual revival. And each of us can and must play a key part in this revival. How? While we’re engaged on every battlefront – committed to work creatively and effectively, to educate and persuade, to enlighten and awaken, and to outthink and outmaneuver the demented Left – each of us needs, as Christ commanded, to “Let [our] light … shine before men,” always praying we can wage the battle righteously. And even praying for our enemies.

Pastor Dutch Sheets gives us wise counsel in his “Give Him 15” prayer guide for January 22, 2021: (https://www.givehim15.com/post/january-22-2021)

Remove from your heart all unbelief that God cannot cleanse our nation.

Ask Him for mercy to those who will repent. God loves them all.

Continue to ask God for righteous leaders.

Ask Him to release a great awakening to the earth.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, there is indeed a weariness on our nation. The last 2 1/2 months have been difficult, confusing, and disheartening. Many have grown more cynical; others have become disillusioned. Division in our nation has intensified. It does, indeed, seem that truth has fallen in the streets.

And yet, You are showing many that You’re going to cleanse our nation. We believe this has already begun. You are exposing so much. We ask You to continue this. Give grace and mercy to those who repent and turn from their deceitful ways, but whatever it takes, please cleanse us from this corruption. And we continue to ask for the corruption in this past election to be exposed until it is clear to all what really took place. Then bring Your solution.

And finally, Lord, we ask You for this Third Great Awakening, which we know is coming. Pour it out on America, and also around the world. We ask for 1 billion souls to be saved, and for entire nations to be transformed. May America be a recipient of this revival and also be used as a messenger of Your gospel to the ends of the earth. In the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, we pray, amen.

The secret to saving America, by David Kupelian – how to fight the good fight without losing your soul; January 14, 2021 WND https://www.wnd.com/2021/01/secret-saving-america/

“… become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye are seen as lights in the world …” –Philippians 2:15

The United States of America is in the throes of a full-scale revolution. The incoming administration, which openly promises to transform America, rewrite her Constitution and “reimagine” all of her bedrock institutions, is being heralded by a shockingly totalitarian censorship campaign targeting everyone in opposition

the Left has relentlessly pursued its goal, as Barack Obama put it, of “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

though President Trump fought mightily against this tide for four years, tirelessly pursuing a pro-life, pro-religious freedom, pro-Constitution, pro-America agenda, as of today the revolutionaries are wildly ascendent.

Consider that in the past year the radical Left – with whose cause Big Media, Big Tech, Big Education, Big Hollywood and the entire Democratic Party totally identify – has succeeded in:

* indicting the freest, most welcoming and least racist nation on earth as irredeemably racist;

* inciting violent Marxist revolutionaries to riot, vandalize, loot and burn America’s major cities;

* abandoning their former “safe, legal and rare” stance on abortion in favor of wanton celebration of late-term abortion up to the moment of birth and beyond;

* encouraging innocent children to irreversibly ruin their lives by chemically (and sometimes surgically) “transitioning” to the opposite sex – a scientific impossibility;

* using the COVID pandemic as a cover for imposing unprecedented totalitarian control over Americans; and

* gaslighting an entire nation by perpetrating the most wide-ranging, egregious and in-your-face election fraud in U.S. history while pretending disenfranchised American voters who simply want a fair and impartial investigation are the crazy ones, “trying to steal the election from Joe Biden.”

what can good Americans do?

So now comes the big question: With such genuine wickedness openly manifesting in “the land of the free,” so much that it evokes the Apostle Paul’s admonitions about “powers and principalities” and “spiritual wickedness in high places,” what can good Americans do about the precarious state of their country? During this time of genuine tribulation and even persecution, how should moral, right-thinking Americans, who work hard, love their country, honor its history and obey its laws – and who don’t pretend there are dozens of new genders and that America is a despicable racist hellhole – now respond?

In truth, Americans today are confronted with a maniacal revolutionary movement emanating from a full-bore rebellion against God Almighty and the essential foundation stones of Western Judeo-Christian civilization – from biblical morality, to “unalienable” individual rights, to equal justice under the law, to the color-blind society championed by Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., to the sacredness of children in the womb. After all, each of these priceless principles emanates directly from a deep recognition that human beings are created in the image of God – Imago Dei – and are therefore precious and of inestimable value.

America was blessed by wise founders who crafted a magnificent Constitution to be the template for a government based on individual rights and ordered liberty, not the rule of kings and potentates. Blessed with a population willing to sacrifice 600,000 lives in a war to expunge the evil of slavery. Blessed with an admirably resilient Judeo-Christian culture and a population genuinely in love with their country. Blessed with extraordinary natural resources, including more oil than Saudi Arabia. Blessed with unparalleled freedom and prosperity that to this day attract more immigrants to our shores than any other country in the world, by far.

Awakening to the Reality of Spiritual Warfare

By Dennis Petersen

More and more people in our country and the world are awakening to the reality that we are all on the stage of the greatest spiritual battleground imaginable.  As the darkness of evil becomes increasingly invasive, the brightness of the Light of God’s Truth and Righteousness becomes all the more apparent to those with eyes to see. Unfortunately, we realize from recent history that people who have been pickled in mass-media deception and coddled by a public indoctrination mindset that coddles the stubbornness to cling to their self-serving idolatry and wicked passions, are often too hardened to hear God’s invitation to repent and receive the peace of eternal life.

I’m reminded of one of the great confrontations to which God brought His people – through the calling to confident faith upon His servant, Elijah. It’s ironic that, similar to the spiritual dynamic of our present age, the wicked king Ahab operated under the seductive evil spirit of Jezebel. That spirit mesmerized the people of Israel to the many vile lusts of carnally-minded, man-pleasers. But God still had His faithful remnant of seven thousand prophetic witnesses secreted in the idolatrous nation.

Elijah said to king Ahab and his Israelite subjects at Mount Carmel: “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word (1 Kings 18:21).

After the 850 prophets of Baal revealed the utter powerlessness of their false idolatry, God used His faithful prophet Elijah to dramatically show a taste of the consuming power of YAHweh (The LORD). And then Elijah ordered the seizure and execution of swift judgment upon the demonically sold-out spokesmen of their wicked false god. There’s a pattern here for us to see. It’s a principle of God’s character. And His character does not change. He’s the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

We should all realize that God does not love America more than any other nation or people. There are evil idolatrous people infesting every corner of this fallen world. God’s passion is to have America restored and led by a government of God-fearing law that does not openly oppose Him. The good, humanitarian, and gospel outreach to people in darkness in the far reaches of the world by past generations of Americans, has been eclipsed by the vile wickedness exported by our recent generations. But millions of God-fearing honest citizens of America are now poised by almighty God to reclaim this nation’s legacy of goodness because of God’s love for people in all nations.

As a listener to this radio station, you are probably far more spiritually mature than 90% of our fellow Americans who attend weekly church services. You understand the imperative of Romans 12:2. We’re commanded to “not be conformed to this world (or the ways of this present age), but be transformed” – and that doesn’t just mean converted to Christianity. Paul is speaking to believers here. And that transformation happens “by the renewing of your mind.” That takes a commitment to a life-long process of studying God’s word – thinking and meditating about it with your full mental engagement. Why? So, “that you may prove what the will of God is – and that is always “good and acceptable and perfect.”

Part of that will of God is to know that our heavenly Father’s will for His disciples is to have peace. Romans 8:6 convinces us that confusion in believers has a clear cause. “For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.” Why? Verse 7 tells us. “Because the mind set on the flesh (meaning carnal thinking) is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so.” This is not the path for a Christ-follower. That’s why Paul continues in verse 9 saying, “However, you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he doesn’t (even) belong to Him.”

Ephesians 4:15 urges us all to “speak the truth in love.” Why? So, that we “may grow up in all things into Him who is the head, even Christ.”

It seems that all too many congregations of Christian churches in America are sadly like the people Paul addressed in 1 Corinthians 3:1. “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.”

Does that remind you of that passage in Hebrews 5:12? “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.”

Let’s recognize one of the first priorities for a spiritually mature assembly of Christ’s followers when they meet for public worship. Along with entering God’s “courts with thanksgiving in our hearts and songs of praise to Him on our lips,” we’re clearly urged to do something so that we can have a peaceful and productive life on this earth. What’s that?

1 Timothy 2:1 tells us: “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.”

In Bible times, common people had no option to participate in what we call “politics.” They were all subjects to a king with complete sovereignty over their lives. They were essentially like slaves to the crown. America was established on the principle that “we the people” are the sovereigns who choose honorable magistrates to represent our interests on local, regional and national levels. That constitutionally agreed upon republic can only be maintained by a God-fearing and law-abiding citizenry that is personally involved in the day-to-day processes of governance.

As America has prospered because of its founding on Biblical principles, it has taken over a century for all but a remnant of the Christian patriots in this country to abdicate their responsibility to be the salt and light in every area of our society. Thanks to the lack of perceptive spiritual leadership in our churches, it got to the point in recent decades where less than half the Christian population even voted in a general election. Now, because of the clear and present danger of the imminent loss of our personal liberties, that remnant is awakening. God, in His mercy, is granting His Ekklesia – His true family of Christ-followers – a chance to “grow up” – to do all the things that Christ commanded His disciples to do and to teach. The ‘dualism’ and ‘pietism’ that has ruled the thinking of many modern preachers is being revealed for the hypocrisy that it is.

America’s mission from her birth is to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom of Christ to the ends of the earth. Nothing has ever changed that. As Abraham was blessed to be a blessing, God’s signal blessings on America are a vivid testimony of our legacy to bless the entire world. We’re part of God’s providential strategy to redeem our sin-sick planet. Abraham’s righteous descendants gave us the Messiah, who redeemed us all by God’s grace. America’s calling is to advance the good news of our Messiah’s finished work to the forgotten people groups throughout the world. Nothing is hated by the Devil and hell’s demons more that this.  Only the children of Israel are loathed so intensely by God’s enemies, including corrupted people who’ve sold their souls to the demonic spiritual principalities of the deep state. … They will lose. As God gave seasons of restoration to Judah under good, God-fearing Kings like Jehoshaphat, Hezekiah and Josiah, God, today,   is hearing the humble intercession of tens of millions of God-fearing patriots who love their country and are praying that He will mercifully restore and reestablish America as the resounding voice of His kingdom. There is no evil force that can stop that.

Pastor Dutch Sheets of Texas has been offering a daily recorded prayer guide on GiveHim15.com. since the November election. It has blessed many people worldwide as all of us have been increasingly discovering the high level, widespread acts of corruption to swindle the American people from our freedoms. His January 18, 2021 episode is titled “My Anchor Holds” – providing much of the content I share with you now.

Pastor Dutch begins by sharing thoughts from a friend named Jacquie, to which I’m taking the liberty to add a few personal thoughts that I trust will be insightful and encouraging.

“The apprehension and heartache that many of us are feeling over our nation has many causes:

  • Gross social division in our nation on many fronts – mostly aggravated by the MSM.
  • Gross ignorance of our history, our Bible and what our grandparents called ‘common-sense.’
  • Vehement Hatred of God and His values in the halls of government and in the streets;
  • Hypocrisy and duplicity demonstrated by governmental leaders, who excused and protected violence in the streets for months, then condemned and blamed President Trump and conservatives for the premeditated violence at the Capitol (PLEASE understand that all of us praying patriots have nothing to do with criminal and seditious violence. We only speak of the hypocrisy demonstrated by outspoken leftist traitors of America’s Constitution of God-fearing law).
  • Vilification and demonization of anyone who doesn’t agree with the leftist, liberal agenda;
  • Consternation and irritation over the division and delusion among some believers who think supporting and voting for officials promoting anti-God and immoral policies is somehow ok.

“Our support of the President should have nothing to do with an illusion that President Trump is flawless or a perfect president. We all know he is not perfect and that God is our only true hope for salvation and deliverance. We have only one Savior and Deliverer, and that is Jesus Christ. There is no other!

“The burdens, grief, and passion of intercession we feel for our nation is an expression of several things.

  • Our love for the Lord and His desires for our nation stirs us to intercede for Americans to live in the fulfillment of His Biblical intention for us.
  • We love our nation because of our passion to see the freedoms we have enjoyed secured for our children, our children’s children, and all those who come after us. It is about securing our nation from the tyrannies of anti-American sentiments, agendas, and actions that would strip us of our fundamental, God-given freedoms.
  • We are committed to live fully for the Lord during our short time on the earth. We pursue greater and greater measures of the culture of the Kingdom of God ‘on earth as it is in heaven.’

“Our passion and pursuit of God’s purposes for this nation will never change. Our intercession and the work God has called us to, will continue.”

As we launch into what is already becoming one of the most historic weeks of our history, a great hymn I often sang as a child comes to mind. “On Christ the solid Rock, I stand. All other ground is sinking sand. All other ground is sinking sand.” This is the chorus from the popular hymn written by Rev. Edward Mote in 1834. It comes from the parable Jesus told in Matthew 7:24-27. He compares our ability or inability to receive His Words by faith and find our life’s stability in them. The song says:

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

Refrain:

On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness veils His lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace; in every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil.

His oath, His covenant, His blood support me in the whelming flood; when all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay.

As we move into a week of potential turmoil, we must hold fast to Jesus, just as this hymn reminds us. We must fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. We must stir ourselves up in our most holy faith and believe that evil will not ultimately prevail.

In 1 Kings 18, we see the famous challenge between Elijah and the corrupt and immoral prophets of Baal. In the story, God uses Elijah to show Israel He is their true God. Yahweh’s tremendous love for Israel and a firm commitment to the covenant He made with them, moves Him to display His justice with miraculous power to make it clear that He is the only true God desiring His people’s full allegiance. Immediately afterward, Elijah, no doubt drained by the confrontation, falls into a deep depression, running away from wicked Queen Jezebel’s threat to take his life.

The Lord sends an angel to feed him and lovingly calls Elijah to Himself. When Elijah gets to the place of meeting with God, the Lord says to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” Elijah whines back his answer to God, telling Him about the challenges he is facing because of carrying out His will.

The Lord answers Elijah in a profound display of His power and glory, then asks again, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Pastor Dutch believes God was really asking Elijah, “Have you, yourself, already forgotten Who I Am?” Elijah is helped by the visitation, but his faith was still not fully revived. The battle against Jezebel is fierce. It caused even a prophet of Elijah’s standing to waver. But we are an army. And we have the power of the Holy Spirit in us to fill our hearts with faith, and He fills our mouths with His anointed and empowered decrees.

Do not let your faith waver now. Stand firm on the Rock that is Jesus Himself. See yourself covered in His precious blood, carrying righteousness and justice. No matter the storminess of the gale this week, our hope and anchor will hold. It is firm in the Rock of our relationship and covenant in Him. We must not stop making the decrees He has given us to decree over this great nation. We must not lose our hope in Him.

“All who listen to my instructions and follow them are wise, like a man who builds his house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents, and the floods rise and the storm winds beat against his house, it won’t collapse, for it is built on rock. But those who hear my instructions and ignore them are foolish, like a man who builds his house on sand. For when the rains and floods come, and storm winds beat against his house, it will fall with a mighty crash.” (Matthew 7:24-27; TLB)

Pastor Dutch received a text message last weekend from a friend who lives and ministers in Israel. He told the story with a prayer that they were instructed to pray in a desperate situation in Israel. I believe we should learn from their experience and pray this prayer.

“Here in Jerusalem in 2004, after four years of suicide bombings, killing hundreds of innocent victims, we were crying out to God, that he would bring injustice to an end. He revealed that we should pray for the occult shield of protection to be taken away from the main Islamic leader who was calling for the suicide bombings.

“After a dramatic answer to prayer, the voice of that Islamic terrorist leader was silenced. There were no more successful suicide bus bombings after that day. Here is the prayer, adapted to our current situation:

“So, Lord God Almighty, the Lord of the Armies of Heaven, I thank you for the power of the blood of Yeshua, Jesus, over all witchcraft and occult. We come before You now covered by the blood of Jesus and proclaim over the worldwide systems of evil seeking to take control in America and in the nations.

“Let the occult shields of protection be taken away from everyone involved in theft, fraud, and corruption. May their occult shields of protection no longer be able to hide them from being exposed by the light.

“Let witchcraft manipulation be brought to an end in and over the Congress, Senate, the White House, the Supreme Court, the FBI, the CIA, the Department of Justice, and over the state executives, courts and legislatures, and over election integrity.

As Joshua and Caleb proclaimed to the Hebrews who were intimidated by the giants, we say to all who are intimidated by today’s giants,

‘…do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them…their protection is gone…their protection is gone…their protection is gone…but the Lord is with us…Do not be afraid of them.’ (Numbers 14:9)

We proclaim this in the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

1 Chronicles 28:9 is an admonition to young king Solomon. It applies to us today.

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.”

You’re probably familiar with Psalm 37. “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” But the rest of the passage is worth meditating on.

Verses 7 – 11 advises us to “Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger and forsake wrath; Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers will be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land. Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there. But the humble will inherit the land and will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.

You can count on that. It’s God’s word to us and a promise that we can very much apply to the time that we’re living in. As we collectively seek God with all of our heart, seek His face. Seek His presence.  He’s a very present help in time of need (Psalm 46).

The Promised Land is filled with Giants to Overcome by Faith

By Dennis Petersen

Are you ready for conquering the promised land where giants are overcome by faith? If we are serious about preserving Biblical truth for our children and grandchildren then we will reclaim our legacy that is cast on our American liberty bell – “Proclaim liberty through all the land and to all the inhabitants thereof… Leviticus 25:10.”

The Bible tells us that “To whom we yield ourselves as servants to obey” it’s obvious that you have declared who is your master. Paul uses that plain observation in Romans 6:16 to contrast the mastery of sin with the mastery of righteousness. But there are many applications of this principle. Jesus observed that discipleship is a life-long training enterprise when he said (Luke 6:40) “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.”  Jesus is not only our teacher.  He is also our Master – our Lord.

What is the first commandment God gave to Moses?  Have no other gods before me. In our complex lives we are constantly being tempted by various seducing means, like intimidation and carnal lusts, to obey and give our allegiance to all sorts of “other gods.” Whose words are we spending our time listening to?  The news media? Frivolous and ungodly secular entertainment? Egotistical celebrities who give no credit to God for their success? Teachers who actually believe senseless insane lies? Even people who claim to follow Christ spend many hours daily filling their minds with meaningless drivel, and then give a few minutes of lip-service enduring a Sunday sermon, with virtually no reflection for their personal application. They let themselves be conned by TV ads for drugs with all sorts of life-threatening “side-effects” and give no time to “prove all things,” doing some research to see what natural or wholistic ways might correct their physical problems.  They listen uncritically to the seductive ads for compromised foods and filth-filled Hollywood shows. Then, after years of drinking these kinds of poison, they wonder how to correct the problems of their devastated children and families.

Increasingly, we who claim Jesus Christ as our Lord… our Master… should be convinced of the truth that we “are bought with a price.”  We are commanded to “therefore glorify God in our body, and in our spirit, which belong to God” (1Co 6:20). We are called to “come out from among them and be separate” (2 Co 6:17). We are “a chosen generation… an holy nation, and a PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION.” And He has a special purpose in doing that.  It’s so “that you should demonstrate the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Pe 2:9).

This is the legacy of God’s people.  It’s for all of us.  And it’s not just for our personal victory.  It’s all about building His kingdom… expanding His influence as the King of all kings. We have individual assignments in that centuries-long conquest.

Don’t call yourself a follower of Jesus if you’re not willing to earnestly work hard to meditate on His word daily. You’re capable of letting His Holy Spirit guide the choices of your life to glorify your Creator who redeemed you, aren’t you?  If you belong to Christ, you have relinquished ownership of your choices to Him. You refuse to cave in to the temptations of the Devil. That doesn’t mean you’re perfect. It doesn’t mean you don’t fail daily to do what you know your conscience tells you to do. But that doesn’t keep you from getting up off the floor when you fall down and humbly keep moving forward as God gives you the strength.

Christians should inherently know and be firmly convinced that everything they have is from God. James (1:17) describes God as the “Father of lights” who gives his children every perfect gift, even our very breath. That’s why He’s called “Providence.” He’s Jehovah Jireh, my provider. And His grace – his gifts – provide all that we need in this life, plus the confident expectation – the hope – of eternal life through our Redeemer – Jesus, the Messiah.  But what is the purpose of all this extraordinary grace?  Don’t think for a minute that it’s to create a heavenly family of spoiled brats!  He’s expecting us to be disciples.  That means “disciplined ones.”  Why do you think a young man or woman needs to be trained with rigorous discipline? As we develop skills for living and learning how to prosper honestly in the world, let’s remember there’s a target for us.  It’s to create a legacy for the next generation.

But we have mountains that challenge us to conquer them. The mountainous influences of this world are the very territory Jesus took authority over as King of all kings. They are like gateways to the pit of hell itself. And Jesus said He gave His true followers the keys to open the doors of influence and overcome every gateway to hell’s dominion. Canaan was the promised land to God’s chosen people, but following their commander Joshua (Yeshua-Savior), they had to fight with God’s help for every fortified city in the land. In Jesus Christ, we’re commanded by our commander to conquer every enemy, trusting Him to win the victory in His strength, not in our material weapons alone. The irony is that He still expects us to bravely do our part in the ongoing battle. Christ’s chosen disciples… you and me… are called and assigned to be soldiers who entrust our entire lives to the King of the universe. Like David, we learn that our LORD teaches our hands to do the tasks required for victory. We double down into the disciplines that make us mature soldiers, willing to bravely risk our lives for the sake of others. We feed the hungry. Clothe the naked. Shelter the homeless. Heal the sick, and teach the ignorant. Do whatever it takes and whenever it’s required to be the hands and feet of our Savior, to bring glory to our Heavenly Father… by letting Him reveal His strength through our obedience.

The obvious enemies of God devoted to those on the left do not want biblical principles, morals, and ideals controlling America. They reject our Christian roots, disagree with the standards and principles of scripture, and would ridicule our observation that God raised up America for the purpose of “proclaiming liberty throughout all the land” through salvation in Christ.  They have completely dishonored and rejected him. That’s the only reason we would engage in spiritual warfare for the purity of our elections. It’s not for a man. It’s for God’s cause on the earth. As long as we keep this as our motivation, God will fight for us.

Our criticism isn’t only of those on the left. Many on the right – Republicans and conservatives – are unwilling to stand up and fight in this battle. They are self-serving cowards. They have no understanding of, or interest in, God’s purpose for America. Their governance ignores Him and His ways. Since they do not align with the God-given vision of our Founding Fathers, they do not meet the true definition of an American patriot. They’re self-serving and fear-filled politicians. They dishonor the efforts and memory of the true patriots God used to establish America. Having traded patriotism for privilege and Christ’s cause for a career, they are unwilling to make a stand.

As soldiers, we realize we are constantly involved in a war for the souls of others… not just to rescue them from the danger of destruction, but to train (disciple) them for the work of expanding the kingdom of our Master. It’s not just a personal battle.  It’s a kingdom battle. We’re a thankful small part of the big operation in this global war. He called His Ekklesia… His church… His family of committed soldiers… to equip themselves with the tools of victory found in the wisdom of His Word. Think of Psalm 33.

1 Sing for joy in the LORD O you righteous ones…

5 He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.

8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the world’s inhabitants stand in awe of Him.

10 The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.

16 The king is not saved by a mighty army; a warrior is not delivered by great strength.

18 …the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness,

19 to deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.

22 Let Thy lovingkindness, O LORD, be upon us, according as we have hoped in Thee.

See how the principle of training to be a warrior is for the sake of expanding our Master’s kingdom.

I want you to see a very practical fact of life in this supposedly “free country” of ours.

For President Trump or any representative of the American people in the congress to not aggressively defend the integrity of every legal vote in any election – by following our constitution – is immoral, dishonest, ungodly, and disgraceful. Worse yet, it rightfully deserves the full vengeance of not only the American rule of law, but of Almighty God Himself. Jesus set our example. It is completely acceptable and appropriate for every God-fearing citizen of a constitutional republic to exercise their duty in every possible way. They must strongly, but respectfully, voice their disdain and disapproval for every cowardly civic non-leader or hypocritical religious prelate who does not publicly voice their contempt for the disregard of the rule of law and the civil order of God’s Biblical design for society.

We don’t condone personal vengeance or mob violence, but we must protect self-defense and community rule of law. If it is an act of terrorism to willfully destroy your property and take your life or steal your belongings, isn’t it also an act of terrorism when a corrupt governor destroys the livelihoods of millions of people, based on nothing but false fear and junk science hype? When governments become terrorists to their own people, don’t the people have the right to stop that terrorism? Stopping a lawless, criminal government by force is not itself a lawless act. Is it not an act to restore the rule of law? And if the supreme courts of any nation won’t stop the lawlessness, corruption and fraud, then the Constitution and the Bill of Rights – particularly in America – quite soberingly place the responsibility for resolving the situation on the shoulders of We the People.

In America there are perhaps 100 million plus patriotic, law-abiding citizens who have at least some moral conscience and respect for Almighty God, even if not all of them have a personal witness of salvation through Jesus Christ.  It may be common for many to focus on the bad things that get most of the public’s attention in society. But Christian people need to be educated, informed, inspired and given hope about the good things that God is doing through his servants in the world.  This is just as valuable as our need to bring hope to those who are desperately without hope in their lost condition without Christ.

In a time when great crisis and calamity grips the entire world, any Christian who does not see the opportunity for laborers to work in God’s ripe harvest field (Matt 9:37) is obviously missing something.

Do you really think that God will stand still while the whole world of relatively peaceful and harmless people is being deliberately harmed by a coup of illegitimate, deceitful imposters? Just because wicked immorality has abounded among the enemies of God and His Biblical order, does not mean that God has ceased in His righteous defense of the godly who are earnestly trying to follow the ways of God and civil order as best they can, crying out to God for His deliverance and protection.

We need to remind ourselves of something. Be careful in your judgement when you hear people say God would have to apologize to Sodom for its divine judgment if He allows a modern nation or state that’s overcome by wicked rulers and the proliferation of evil to endure. Think what is completely different now.  Jesus has finished his work of redemption (John 19:30). Jesus has been given the keys to hell and death (Rev 1:18). Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and on earth (Matt 28:18).  Jesus has millions of new creation Christ-followers living on earth today. They are discovering the authority Jesus has given them to use the weapons of spiritual warfare to subdue principalities and dominions that are operating in the affairs of the present systems of the world (2 Co 10:4). Jesus is sitting on the right hand of our heavenly Father.  Jesus is interceding for his saints – His chosen people (Ro 8:34). Jesus promised that both the wheat and the tares (weeds) will be allowed to grow up together until the harvest of judgment on the earth that is a time known only to God the Father (Matt 13:30).

On a personal level, we all must allow God to convict us of personal sin. We all must seek God personally with a whole heart. We all have areas of our lives in which we must trust God for His help with our willing repentance. But God’s son, Jesus, the only Messiah of all mankind, is the rightful King over all earthly kings. His rule must be recognized by those who claim to follow him as the “sheep of His pasture.”  And, whether they like it or not, the “goats” of the world’s nations will be rightfully separated and judged by the Supreme King they refuse to obey (Matt 25:32). His will – His purposes and His agenda – will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matt 6:10). And that is the way His people are commanded to pray for the present time… not just dreaming about the far-away future millennial kingdom.  Remember that Christ said he would build his Ekklesia – His assembly of adopted children that we refer to as the “church” (Matt 16:18). And the influential “gates” of hell will not overcome his invading army of obedient soldiers who are working to plant the seeds of the good news everywhere.

When law-abiding citizens and the weaker members of society are not fiercely protected from the tyrannically destructive decisions of governing officials who are exceeding their proper and constitutional jurisdictions, the general public must rightfully stand together in defiance as peacefully as possible. Regardless of their private sectarian theologies, true Christians will always be sensitive to personal humanitarian needs they are able to meet, without expecting government to help society for them. True Christians will always defer to Scripture for clarification of their duties within their societies. No generation of Christians in the modern era since the Great Reformation of the 16th century has embraced that kind of world-view and ethics more manifestly than the founding generation of America – those who wrote the constitution of the United States of America.  Despite all her historic flaws and the massive amount of evil that has been committed by enemies of God in our American society, the nation of America has been used by God in remarkably influential ways to expand the gospel of God’s kingdom and bring so much goodness, health and prosperity to the world.

What do you think will increasingly happen as more and more modern American Christians wake up and realize the abundant opportunities they are being given right now? Outside the walls of corrupted institutions, the organic family of God’s humble messengers are bringing the light of the world to expose the darkness and the salt of the world to reverse its putrid rottenness.

More and more people are waking up to the fact that, compared to the epidemic plagues of history, like the 14th century black death that wiped out nearly 50% of Europe’s population, the current so-called China virus pandemic does not even qualify as a mild epidemic. The recent statistical analysis of all causes of death in America amounted to about the same total number in 2020 as the number of those who died in 2019, before anyone ever heard of the covid-19 virus. That fact helps us realize that politically correct, corrupt politicians and the globalist-run, main-stream media have conveniently ignored the death counts from seasonal flu and even heart disease and accidents to deceptively inflate the numbers reported to be caused by the plague. This is not to say that the unusual sickness isn’t tragic for the less than one half of one percent of those who contract the disease and die. But, compared to the percentages of fatalities due to other contagious diseases, this current one is really anything but historic.  What is historic is the public pandemic of fear that has plagued society world-wide.  And this is happening only because the constant drum-beat of propaganda has convinced superstitious people to believe that a cloth face covering will magically help society.  Why? Because their false god – called the government – has proclaimed it’s essential… but their small businesses are not essential.

Remember… whatever power you yield yourselves to obey… that is the power that owns you! This is not to say that, as a society, we don’t have an appropriate responsibility to comply with the laws of an orderly government. But just like our American founders defined in our birth certificate (the Declaration of Independence) “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, and that whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of the certain unalienable Rights that are endowed by their Creator, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish that government.”  With all the treasonous corruption that is being openly revealed to the American public and that has been patiently tolerated for all too long, it is now realized by true patriots, that it’s past time for justice and accountability to be demanded of our governing officials.

Pastor Dutch Sheets on January 2, 2021 shared a prayer suggestion with his “give Him 15” listeners. He reminds us that “God Will Use a Remnant Filled with His Brave Heart.” https://www.givehim15.com/prayer-1

“We must end the delusional thinking that it takes a majority to change things. It does not. That kind of thinking can demoralize us. We think thoughts like: ‘What can we do? We will never get everyone to work together and do this.’ However, we must understand that in the Kingdom of God, though we may be smaller in number, the odds are in our favor. In God’s battles, numbers don’t decide victories and they never have. Passionate devotion is the deciding factor!  What we need, more than numbers, are passionate warriors who will not give up the fight. Why? Because the battle belongs to the Lord!

“Jesus said the Holy Spirit would be with us, in us, and that He would always give us the advantage. Christ uses a remnant of high-impact people – with courage and resolve – who are anointed by the Holy Spirit to become history-changers. This is the era for the remnant warriors – history-makers – to arise and be who God says we are. We are to do what God says we can do.

“In the American Revolution, only a third of the people in the young colonies were Patriots. One-third were Loyalists—they supported the British throne and its bully government. 40% didn’t care either way.  Sadly, it’s the same today… even in the nominal church. Too many just don’t care. The remnant is bearing the burden alone. This is causing needless hardship and delay. But it won’t stop us.

“More than numbers, the early Patriots had a depth of conviction that we are going to have to display in 2021. We must. They were unflinching in their resolve, committed to freedom and liberty. They had faithful endurance, passion, and heart for a cause that would bless their children and future generations of children. Sacrifice was embraced as a virtue; it was honorable, and they changed their moment of history. Because of their resolve, we are the United States of America, with a solid Republican form of government, that has lasted more than 200 years.

“It is consistent throughout scripture that God only needs a remnant. Consider Gideon’s 300 – they faced thousands. Though they were not many, God anointed them to win a battle that restored seven years of lost harvest. There were only 120 at the Upper Room, obediently waiting for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. They were not many, but they were enough and turned their whole world upside down. Miracles were prevalent and a great harvest occurred. They defined their moment in history – the church was birthed.

“The remnant God has to work with today is far more than 120. It’s millions! Think of the stand we can make in this new era. We can change a nation; we can change our world. We must never get to a point where we think God can’t do a particular thing. He sometimes uses only one, as He did when He gave David the ability to kill Goliath and save Israel. Think what He can do through millions. I not only believe He can do something. I believe He will.”

Like David, bravely confronting Goliath who had all the king’s soldiers cowering in fear, God’s men today must decree openly to the powers that be, “You confront me with all your deceptive fear… but we come against you in the name of the God-of-Angel-Armies, the God of America’s patriot founders, whom you mock. This very day God is handing you over to us… and the whole earth will know that there’s an extraordinary God in America’s Ekklesia-church. And everyone with eyes to see will learn that God doesn’t save by means of courts or politicians. The battle belongs to God—he’s crushing your plan and destroying your influence through our King Jesus in this time for His glory!” (1 Samuel 17:45-47)

An old hymn invites today’s God-honoring warriors

Rise up, O men of God!

The church for you doth wait—

Your strength unequal to the task,

But Christ in you is great!

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: from Pastor Dutch Sheets at https://www.givehim15.com/prayer-1

Consider historical and biblical remnants used by God to bring about His purposes. Let faith arise in you.

Declare, “The patriotic remnant will arise and, together with Holy Spirit, will save America once again!”

Ask the Lord to remove all corruption, injustice, and demonic presence from the halls of our government.

Pray for the complete cleanup of each branch of government—the Executive, Congress, and the Judicial system.

Decree, “The future of this nation will be secured.”

A prayer you can pray (by Tim Sheets):

God, come to America today. Come and strike against Your adversaries. As Your church makes a stand with You, as Your warriors rise, we will not look at numbers and we will not back down. We will draw up in faith and send forth missiles of Your Word. Come and remove the injustice in our justice system. Remove the corruption in our Congress. Remove the duplicity in our state houses. Come, Lord, and heal our land. Let Your Holy Spirit and His power synergize with the multiple millions of prayers that have gone forth into this season and into this election. Anoint those prayers with power to become weapons in the arms of Your mighty warring angels.

Come to America. Come to our land. Let not the faith and resolve of our forefathers be wasted. Let the plans activated by the fires of hell, in darkness by lawless demons, fall to the ground now. Snuff them out. Let the Jezebel spirit influencing many in the halls of our Congress, who want to hold government as their own, be routed now. Knock the corruption away in response to the prayers of Your saints. Let a remnant of legislators arise to do what they must to keep this nation on Your course. Remove the deception from their eyes. Let them see how high the stakes really are. Let them see the vicious lust your enemies have for illegitimate rule. Move them to do the right thing for the future of this great nation You have raised up as Your own. Thank You for acting on our behalf, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s decree: The Lord has used a remnant of the Church to pray and He will act on these prayers. America will be saved!

Gods people at a Precipice of Faith – must let God’s Spirit retrain their thinking

By Dennis Petersen

At this Christmas season, spiritually sensitive disciples of Jesus Christ are very aware that we are rushing toward a precipice at the close of another chapter of God’s dealing with human kind.

Do you remember the chapter that closed when Moses led Egypt’s recently released slave nation of 2+ million descendants of Abraham right to the edge of the Red Sea? They absolutely depended on a miracle to save them from annihilation. They were at a precipice. And after seeing many amazing divine provisions of protection and survival, God gave them a miraculous way of salvation that required them to step out into an historic deliverance.

Remember another chapter that closed with another precipice when Queen Esther was encouraged to boldly intercede to her King on behalf of her fellow Israelites? Her courage paved the way for another deliverance. It was one that required God’s people to prepare themselves for self-defense so they would not be obliterated by what seemed to be an impossible edict of the king.

Listen to what God’s Spirit says in the words of Jesus that brings us to remember one of the most well-known precipices in history.  See Luke 17.

26 “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 “They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 “Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 “but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 “Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”

There have been a number of crisis closing chapters in God’s dealing with mankind in His world. We’re talking about the complete created world that belongs to God. I’m not talking about the domains of darkness in this present “age” that are under Satan’s deception.  God’s “ways” typically bring men to a precipice.  That precipice always reveals the power of God that can not be constructed by any well-intended human action.

1 Corinthians 2:14 tells us: “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

The intellectually influential and powerful elitists of our secular world gloat over their anticipation of a socialist utopia. They boast of the ‘global reset’ they have planned. The almighty God laughs in mockery at their diabolical plans. He is about to release the greatest outpouring of His merciful grace and spirit of repentance and awakening ever seen on earth. He will show Himself sovereign to the utter dismay of the idolatrous false gods of this world’s kingdoms and their wicked human leaders who have refused to receive the love of the truth.

Read about Spiritual Wisdom in 1 Corinthians 2

6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of manThe things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” [see Isaiah 64:4. “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him”].

10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, (he evaluates, he discerns, he understands) yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

When Paul speaks of “we” who “also speak” and “we” who “have the mind of Christ,” he’s talking about himself and the apostles.  Their divinely revelatory doctrine was being revealed openly to all who would receive “the Spirit of God.”  The natural man will never receive that revelation. The natural man is ruled by his natural mind that has been trained all their lifetimes by naturally, carnally-minded people who have no fear of God. If we are to even remotely grasp – to receive and whole-heartedly agree and publicly say “amen” to the wisdom of God – we’re going to have to come to a precipice of faith.  Whose word will we believe and rely on? Are we going to demand natural human understanding before we step out on the water with our eyes fixed on Jesus?

A Precipice of Faith for Americans 80 years ago

Just before Christmas in 1941, almost 80 years ago, our parents and grandparents were stunned with their whole world being brought to a precipice. Pearl Harbor had been bombed. Thousands of young men died unexpectedly. War became painfully real. For the most part, our society had not felt that kind of pain until 9-11…. And NOW.

The editor of World Net Daily (WND.com) is David Kupelian.  His subscribers received his recent email, outlining the precipice we are at in America at the end of 2020.

“It’s a poignant time for us as Americans. We’re approaching Christmas, one of the most joyous times of the year – and yet our great country is closer to a state of war between its own citizens than at any time since the Civil War.

Why is that?

Because leaders of the Democratic Party – when they’re not busy canceling Thanksgiving and Christmas, driving our children to suicide by forcing them to isolate at home, championing abortion up to the moment of birth and insisting there are dozens and dozens of brand-new genders – have spent months busily scheming, encouraging and enabling massive voter fraud of every imaginable sort. As a result, we are saddled with one of the most spectacularly crooked elections in American history.

This in turn is setting Americans up for one of two disastrous futures:

One, “President Elect” Joe Biden takes office and the nation profoundly splits in two because 74 million outraged Trump voters know full well that the Democrats stole the election from them, that the senile and corrupt Biden is not the legitimate president, and that he and Kamala Harris will destroy America with their party’s clinically insane policies.

Two, by some late-breaking miracle, Donald Trump dramatically ends up in the White House for a second term, and about the same number of Biden voters conclude that Trump – whom they are constantly assured by the media is exactly like Adolf Hitler – stole the election from them and will now destroy their country. (And remember, many Biden voters were quite prone to rioting and burning down the nation even before the election.)

That’s a very good recipe for civil war – or at least for a disastrously divided, dysfunctional, angry and unhappy nation wracked by endless political violence.

So what to do?

First, regardless of who ends up as president, if Americans become convinced their nation’s elections are just a cynical charade and that their votes mean nothing because some hidden corrupt elites are elevating to power whomever they choose, America is finished. Period.

Therefore, the main order of business – even at this very late date – remains exposing the massive voter fraud and hopefully transforming what was a monumentally rigged election into a fair one, and in the process restoring integrity to our nation’s electoral system.

But wait. We’re still told by CNN, the New York Times and the rest of the establishment media that there is no widespread voter fraud. It’s all just a racist Republican conspiracy theory, you see. Even when Trump himself tweets about obvious fraud, backed up by eyewitnesses and hundreds of pages of sworn affidavits, Twitter slaps a warning on the president’s message, saying: “Voter fraud of any kind is exceedingly rare in the U.S., election experts confirm.”

Oh, right. Apparently Twitter’s “election experts” are unaware of the Mount Everest-sized pile of evidence of voter fraud – from the sudden surge of 20,000 mail-in votes magically appearing for Joe Biden in Fulton County, Georgia in the wee hours of Nov. 5, to the computer “glitch” in Michigan that mistakenly credited 6,000 Republican votes to Democrats, to the middle-of-the-night vote dumps in other battleground cities that were overwhelmingly for Biden (including a tranche of 23,377 ballots in Pennsylvania, all for Biden – virtually a statistical impossibility), to the illegal locking out of Republican poll-watchers and the papering over of windows in Philly so no one could monitor the vote counting, to overwhelming evidence that Dominion voting machines have been used to illegally switch large numbers of votes from Trump to Biden – and many, many other examples.

But now let’s take one step back and acknowledge that what led us into this terrible vote-fraud situation was yet ANOTHER massive fraud – one every bit as evil, corrosive and ruinous as election fraud: I’m talking about America’s fraudulent news media. Only today’s Pravda-like press could have enabled someone like Joe Biden – disintegrating mentally, wrong on every issue, lying continually, and as recent evidence proves, one of the most spectacularly corrupt politicians in modern U.S. history – to become the Democratic candidate and very likely the next president.

As Tucker Carlson recently commented: “When the smoke clears from this election, there’ll be a massive realignment in the media, no matter who wins. Because they showed who they are. And it’s so unappealing, it’s so far from journalism, that it can’t continue.”

That’s right. No matter how this election disaster ends, the media landscape will be forever changed. Most so-called “mainstream journalists” have disgraced themselves beyond repair, having proven they are no better – and no different – than Pravda, the pretend “newspaper of record” in the former Soviet Union that was actually just a craven, lying, servile propaganda mill for that totalitarian regime’s ruling elite.

Thus, whatever the future holds, Americans are going to need, more than ever before, a moral, courageous and TRUTHFUL “free press” to help everyone navigate what promises to be a tumultuous, dangerous and unpredictable era ahead.

World Net Daily fully intends to remain a key part of America’s truth-proclaiming free press in the days, months and years to come. Indeed, our motto since 1997 – long before most of the rest of the online media pack even existed – has been “A Free Press for a Free People.”

I’m telling you about this for good reason. People who love the truth and desire to reclaim their God-given legacy of being light in a dark world should do everything in their power to support and learn from truth tellers like WND.com.

My heart resonated with a message I recently received from one of my favorite mentors, Pastor Lance Wallnau. He reminded me of my very favorite Christmas carol, “O Holy Night.” One particular line of the lyrics summarizes 2020 while reminding us of the true meaning of this season. You probably know the four short words in the last stanza:

“O holy night, the stars are brightly shining. It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining, ‘Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices,”

THE WEARY WORLD REJOICES…

Now, more than ever, our world is weary.  We all need to find a reason to REJOICE. Many of the people around us are overwhelmed and anxious. For many, the future is uncertain. They struggle with fear and heaviness.

But even in the midst of a weary world, God has given you and me the ability to exercise our divine responsibility… We can bring this weary world – a “thrill of hope.”

And this “thrill of hope” is Jesus and what Heaven is doing right now!

If you know Jesus is your Master as well as your Creator, then you are not captive to this weary world. You were transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light when you were born again through the agency of His Holy Spirit, calling and choosing you to be His child. You are IN this weary world, but you are no longer OF this weary world. You were born from above. Your life is hidden in Christ in God. And when He appears, you shall appear with Him! Your “blessed hope” is more than a religion; it is a person.

JESUS REALLY IS COMING BACK in His Church before He returns for His Church!

“For unto us a child is born, unto us, a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6.

Over the years, I’ve sung “O Holy Night” countless times. But this year, it serves as a prophetic reminder of our role as Ambassadors of the government of Heaven – a kingdom carrying earth’s ultimate HOPE.

The trials we face today are real. The suffering we experience is real. But the hope we find in Jesus Christ is also real – and unlike the things of this world, it’s independent of this present age (or world’s system) … It is eternal.

I Thessalonians 4:13 reminds us that as believers, we “do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope” We know that the sorrows and tribulations of this world will one day pass away. Still, we not only have the promise of eternity with our Savior, we have the promise now that says, “I AM WITH YOU.”

There is a thrill of hope, my dear friend, and it lands us right now in the middle of an unshakable kingdom. The kingdom is the realm of a new King named Jesus… and that is what we celebrate this Christmas. Jesus is our hope, and hope is a part of the armor each of us is to put on.

The Apostle Paul compared hope to a helmet (1 Thes. 5:8). The “helmet of hope” covers your thought life. Since “faith is the substance of things hoped for,” (Hebrews 11:1) we know that if the devil gets your hope, he gets to short circuit your faith. Faith is the substance maker of your hope. That’s why you must guard your thought life. Remember that the return of Jesus is called “the blessed HOPE” for a reason.

Jesus told His disciples that the Spirit of God is “with you and shall be IN YOU.” We know that God is both with us, living inside us and returning for us to physically rule the earth. As Jesus ascended, the angel told the disciples, “This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

This Christmas, I want to encourage you to keep that helmet of hope secure. God has a blueprint for your life. His profound presence in your life will grow stronger as the day of His appearing draws closer.

The Ekklesia – the Church – is you and me. We’ve been given powerful keys of authority to bind and to loose the power and purposes of God right here on earth. They’re called “the keys of the kingdom.” These keys are the tools we use to fulfill Jesus’s prayer, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Luke 11:2).” But like Noah, we can’t make other people get into the ark. We have an ark! The ark is the promise that “you and your household will be saved.” You have authority over your own life and your own house. Be the prophet to your house! Bring it under the dominion of HOPE.

This Christmas – and throughout the coming New Year – let’s be one united voice of hope. Let us function as a community, a fellowship. Let’s host the presence of God by praying together and declaring God’s salvation to a weary world. Their desperate need is for a living hope and a very present, powerful Savior. May He be witnessed in your life.

Pastor Dutch Sheets recently shared a prophetic insight given by Pastor Kent Christmas. He said: “What you have been watching in the media is the spirit of that woman Jezebel trying to replace the woman called the church in the earth. But the voice of the church in this hour are my prophets, and they will not be silenced. And the word of the Lord that I have released in this hour – though it looks impossible says God, it will come to pass. All that I have declared to you, it will not come to pass by the power of men, it will not come through politics or law or even the Supreme Court, says the Lord, but it will come by the power of the Holy Ghost in this hour…”

On December 18th Pastor Dutch Sheets gave a sobering and hope-filled exhortation to today’s Ekklesia.

Let’s go back to Elijah anointing Elisha, Hazael, and Jehu. They were anointed to deal with Jezebel, who was a worshiper of Baal. She supported many prophets of Baal and killed prophets of Yahweh. But as she primped in front of her mirror and mocked Holy Spirit, Elisha was prophesying and Jehu was on the move. Her days were numbered, just as the days of that spirit are numbered in America today. God will not tolerate her, nor can we. We must pull her down, in the spirit.

We must be bold, prophesying our nation’s future as God has ordained it. WE must decide and decree what the future of America looks like, not allow the “prophets of Baal”—the Godless left, the media, and other haters of God – to do so. We must declare, like Samuel Adams at the signing of the Declaration of Independence, “We have this day restored the Sovereign, to whom alone men ought to be obedient. He reigns in Heaven and…From the rising to the setting sun, may His kingdom come.”

Declare, “These are the days of Elijah, Elisha, Hazael, and Jehu. These are the days Jezebel will be thrown down!”

Decree “The Ekklesia will no longer tolerate Jezebel in our churches or in our government! We will no longer tolerate the sacrifice of our unborn to Baal. Our children will be saved!”

Intercede for the church in America to be pure and holy.

Pray for the proper alignment of the church and government. Call for God’s influence in government, according to Isaiah 33:22, to increase over the next four years.

Decree into our government those things with which God wants to bless America—truth, justice, righteous laws, first amendment freedoms, and many other blessings.

Epoch Times Recommends use of The Insurrection Act – enabling Trump to use military help to seize the key electoral evidence in contested states to deliver transparent, accurate accounting of the vote.

The country is in dire straits, the Democrat-aligned leftist deep state put us here, and it’ll take bold, decisive leadership coupled with unconventional political warfare (and, perhaps, actual warfare) to restore it.

That’s the conclusion of The Epoch Times’ editorial board earlier this week.

“The 2020 presidential election is unlike any that came before and requires unprecedented measures to protect it, our republic, and our future,” the editorial begins.

“Both the degree and the scale of voter fraud were unprecedented. In swing states, President Donald Trump had large leads on election night. Then, late that night, counting was stopped and election observers were ushered out. And then, huge, statistically impossible vote dumps occurred, giving Joe Biden the lead,” it continued.

Noting that this extremely unusual and highly suspect pattern of vote surges occurred only in swing states Biden needed to win (to make everything look on the level), the editorial board added that it all “points to a coordinated effort to steal the election.”

The plan no doubt involved the suspect Dominion Voting System machines which have become the center of attention after attorney Sidney Powell, with the help of forensic IT experts and eyewitnesses who developed the software used by the company, exposed how they can actually steal votes while hiding any trace of the theft.

But it’s not just the testimony regarding the machines. The editorial board pointed to “a thousand sworn affidavits by election observers and others now attest to various forms of illegal ballot harvesting and election irregularities.”

There are even reports that foreign influence may have undermined our election as well.

“Trump has said our election system was the focus of a ‘coordinated assault and siege,’” the board wrote. “As a consequence, our form of government is at risk. If an election can be won through such dishonest means as were used in 2020, then one can expect the next election to be won in the same manner. The American people will effectively lose their right to vote.”

There’s no doubt that is exactly true; if, in fact, there was a coordinated effort to steal this election, that amounts to subversion, the board argued.

And we would add another “s” word: “Sedition.”

Either way, both represent an assault on our republic that cannot and must not go unanswered.

What’s at stake, literally, is everything our founders bequeathed to us.

“[I]f the United States in effect has one-party rule, then legal changes may fundamentally alter our system,” wrote the editorial board, adding:

The Democrats have spoken of ending the Electoral College—assuring that the predominantly Democratic big cities will elect the president—and packing the Supreme Court, to ensure that Democratic-appointed judges have the majority.

But there is even more to worry about than just these political changes, as bad and as serious as they would be.

“The United States is facing an evil force that wants to destroy our country and in fact destroy all good things in humanity,” the board wrote. “This election is the climax of the battle between freedom and communism, between good and evil.” (Related: Situation Update, Dec. 15th – Parallel electors chosen by 7 states as Trump accelerates ops to seize evidence.)

It’s also part of an attempt to re-usher in authoritarian regimes not just around the world but in the U.S. as well, the editors argued further. Like socialism. Like Communism.

“Good and evil cannot compromise. They are like fire and ice. Giving in to evil only encourages it,” write the editors.

Trump cannot allow this because if he does — if we do — then what the deep state has pulled off will “result in a defeat for freedom everywhere.”

After noting that the corruption in the election mostly occurred on the local level and that there are only limited measures Congress could take, under certain conditions, to reconcile the wrongs, the editors note, “Trump’s destiny is to fill the breach.”

“He has taken an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution, and he has the presidential powers to do so,” they write. “The Insurrection Act enables Trump to use the military to seize the key electoral evidence in contested states and deliver a transparent, accurate accounting of the vote.

“Our system is in crisis. Trump would act to restore the rule of law,” they conclude.

Will he? And if he does, who else will stand with him?

Stay tuned to whatever Trump decides to do at Trump.news.

God’s People are Rediscovering our Legacy of Spiritual Warfare in a Corrupt Society

By Dennis Petersen

No rational American Christian today, needs to be convinced that much of our generation is wicked.  As Jesus openly spoke of His own generation as “wicked,” (Matt 12:45), those of us who humbly try to live honorably and honestly are all horrified by the perverse and corrupt wickedness that is being openly exposed in the mountains of influence in our society. God is using the manufactured political crisis of a moderate health emergency to expose the ignorance and corruption that He is now using to generate awakening and repentance.

Have we decided to face reality yet?

U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted June 11 that he was “honored” by an open letter written by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, who served as nuncio to the United States from 2011 to 2016. In the letter, the former nuncio claimed that lockdown restrictions and unrest in the United States were part of a plot to establish a new world order. What must we think about the conditions of our nation right now? Pure evil is seeming to have the victory, but only if you are listening to deceptive voices of influence. We always heard that we are at war. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians makes that very clear. But have we so spiritualized the concept of that war as to become detached from our requirement to personally, mentally and physically get involved with it?
