The historic, providentially prepared founders of America, against all politically correct conventional wisdom of that day, defiantly and bravely declared that there are certain truths that are self-evident.

Have you noticed the very first truth they listed in the Declaration of Independence?  There’s not a hint that there was any dispute at all about the Biblical truth of the eternal existence of the Creator God.  In the 18^th century, the reality of Jehovah God was undeniably embossed on the minds of virtually all thinking people.  In fact, even carelessly immoral and dishonest people, back then, would generally have agreed with the biblical truth that, yes, all humans must ultimately give an account to their Creator for the actions of their lifetime.

Over the last hundred years, the societies of western nations have increasingly fallen prey to the deceptions and delusions of secular humanism and philosophical madness. In that time, the fruit of society’s rejection of God’s most basic commandments has led nations to the brink of moral chaos, economic collapse, and a dark age of demonically tyrannical rule by God-hating globalists.  That small cadre of post-modern “elites” are actually luciferian morons. They really think they can replace the God of Creation with their own artificially contrived “intelligence.” Do you honestly think hard-working, law-abiding, moms and dads by the millions are going to stand around as idle spectators to see how that idea works out? Or are you willing to participate in the grandest exposure of universal evil that proves the complete insanity of what has got to be the most stupid idea that any common-sense human could ever have imagined?

Today, we’re witnessing what is perhaps the most historic partial fulfillment of the famous prophetic statement of Jesus, 2,000 years ago. He said…

“For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all.” Luke 8:17

To many of us, who have hoped for the revival of sanity in our deranged world of endless entertainment and self-abasement, we thank God for the refreshing breezes of the public exposure of evil.  We bemoaned the fact that bad people have had increasingly free reign to influence the highest positions of society’s power for generations.  We’re relieved that life-saving truths are being proclaimed and universally destructive lies are being exposed. A divine reversal appears to be happening right before our eyes.  These are historic times.

Columnist, Cal Thomas, observed year ago that, “One mark of a deteriorating society is when people cannot discern between truth and lies. Another is that they don’t care and will believe whatever their itching ears want to hear.”

If that sounds true, then what are we to make of what’s going on today?    

Marks of a recovering society begin with the bold declaration that truth, transparency, and discernment have increasing proclamation in the public square. Even more encouraging is that more and more people, whose loved ones around them have been battered down by destructive lies, are willing to stand up to question the narratives of those who’ve overtaken society’s trusted institutions of information.  They’re willing to challenge the “sacred cows” of their corrupted society.

But that means… all of us are in for the war … over the minds of our young generation … more than ever before.

As novelist, George Orwell, famously said, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

Could it be that we are experiencing what could be the beginning of a ‘righteous revolution’ of truth?

But… if our society’s fragile humanistic ‘house of cards’ is falling apart, are we paying attention to the underlying crumbling of the foundations of society that have been subtly undermined for generations by devious philosophers in the halls of academic education?

Psalm 11:3 reminds us that “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

John F. Kennedy perceptively wrote, “The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived and dishonest – but the myth – persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.” 

The apostle Paul wrote to his disciple Timothy (2 Tim 4:3-4) that… a time was coming when people would no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. Rather, they would follow their own self-centered desires and look for teachers, willing to tell them whatever their ‘itching ears’ want to hear. Thus, they would brazenly reject the truth and chase after clever myths that have been celebrated by the big shots of society.  And you know who they are… the elites? They’re the openly depraved celebrities… the immoral entertainers… the corrupted politicians… not to mention the super wealthy moguls of the industrial and financial sorcery, that’s hidden in the ivory towers of modern society.

Among all the myths of history, politics, religion, and academia… can you imagine anything that has been pushed on society more aggressively than evolution? The non-sensical godless concept of evolution is almost everywhere repeated, ridiculing anyone who dares to publicly challenge the idea as some kind of a non-thinking religious bigot.  If anyone dares to confess openly in high-profile public media that they denounce evolution and believe in the Bible’s Creator, they are scorned as some kind of irrelevant medieval ‘dinosaur’ who is completely out of touch with reality.

Yet, despite its pervasiveness in society, is there anything in our experience that better exemplifies the story of “The Emperor who had no clothes.”

I like the way I heard a comedian put it something like this…

“Some people think God created the universe… some people think ‘nothing’ created the universe.

Which is the funniest guess?

And the ‘nothing’ people make fun of the ‘God people’… they say that God doesn’t exist.

Okay.. maybe… … But you know what definitely doesn’t exist?

NOTHING… That’s the defining characteristic of nothing… it doesn’t exist!!!

So, what are we talking about?

Either you think it’s God… something you can’t see, taste, touch, photograph, and science can’t prove, OR you think it’s nothing… something you can’t see, taste, touch, photograph, and science can’t prove!!!

But I think we can all agree… if nothing sometimes spontaneously erupts into everything… that’s a pretty magical nothing, you guys.

And ask the ‘nothing people’ … what happens when you die?  You know what they’ll tell you? ‘Nothing, … you go into nothing.’

I’m asking… “You mean you merge back with your creator?”

And then the comedian said… “That’s heaven!”

Isn’t it interesting how a humorous little story like that can cut through a lot of the delusional insanity that eminently educated people have anchored their lives to?

Israel’s King David wrote with prophetic insight at least half the Psalms in the Bible. Two of them are nearly identical… Psalm 14:1-7 and Psalm 53:1-6.  They’re the ones that start off with the clear declaration that those who say there is no God are corrupt fools!

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they have committed detestable acts; There is no one who does good.

2 The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of mankind to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.

3 They have all turned aside, together they are corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.

4 Do all the workers of injustice not know, those who devour my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon the LORD?

5 There they are in great dread, For God is with a righteous generation.

6 You (fools) would put to shame the counsel of the afflicted, But the LORD is his refuge.”

Perhaps those last three verses need some clarification… Let’s hear how the New Living Translation puts it… See if this helps.

“Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying to the LORD.

5 Terror will grip them, for God is with those who obey him.

6 The wicked frustrate the plans of the oppressed, but the LORD will protect His people.

And then the Psalm concludes…

7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!

When the LORD restores the fortunes of His people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.” 

Biblically speaking, we realize that David’s reference to “Jacob” and “Israel” is talking about ALL His people, who are the “heirs of promised salvation” (Gal 3:29) – those “who actually decide to follow in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham” (Ro 4:12).

God’s people … all too commonly… need deliverance because they’ve been “spoiled” (taken captive) by the arch enemy of humanity.  That’s why Paul tells us in Col. 2:8, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”  What does it sound like the source of that captive condition is?  Philosophy and VAIN Deceit!

Isa 5:13 tells us “…my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge…”(compare Hosea 4:6). 

Why do they lack knowledge? 

See verse 12 (Isa 5;12): “…they regard NOT the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of His hands.” 

What is the work of the LORD but the creation?  What is the operation of His hands but the sustaining providence of The Most High God Who existed before anything else, and Who holds all creation together (Col 1:17).

What should we expect when we allow our children to be taught about the wonders of God’s creation (biology, geology, astronomy, etc) by those who scorn the Bible and blaspheme God?  According to this scripture (Isaiah 5:12), this is the root cause of a generation of God’s own people becoming captive to a pagan system.  Read the book of Judges. When a generation forgets God (even when their fathers knew Him) their waywardness brings enemy tyrants to put them into slavery.

What sets people free from that slavery?

In John 8:32, Jesus told us “…the truth!”  And what did He say that results from?

Read John 8:31:  Jesus said, “IF you continue in my Word, … you are my disciples indeed…”

The word Jesus referred to is all the Scriptures of the Old Testament… The Torah and the Tanach.  That’s where you’ll find all kinds of clearly divine messages about the creation of God’s universe.

It begins with God’s revelation to Adam’s family of mankind from the very beginning, some 6,000 years ago, as recorded in the first book of Moses – Genesis. …

Genesis 1:1, 31  start out… “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”  … and the chapter ends, saying… “God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.”

The message of divine creation continues with the commentary of the psalmist, some 3,000 years ago in

Psalm 33:6, 9 “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host… For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.”

After the flood and the tower of Babel, the ancient patriarch of what later became Arabia wrote, some 4,000 years ago, in the book of Job…

Job 12: “…speak to the earth, and let it teach you; and let the fish of the sea declare to you.  Who among all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this, in whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind? Does not the ear test words, as the palate tastes its food?”  Job 12:8-11.

That’s perhaps one of the most insightful passages in all the Bible…  Just think of the profound insights prompted by it…

He’s telling us readers to inquire of the birds, the beasts, the fish and the planet we live on… study them all… The conclusion is promised to be self-evident. Who doesn’t know that the Almighty Creator’s hand is responsible for all this amazing complexity?

Isaiah, God’s prophet to the kings of Israel about 2700 years ago agrees, saying “Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number and calls them all by name… Do you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired.” Isa. 40:26, 28.

Then, at the close of Israel’s Babylonian captivity, God’s special envoy, Nehemiah, working for the king of Persia 2,450 years ago, records the repentant prayer of God’s people, as they celebrated the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls… saying… 

“Thou alone art the LORD God, Thou hast made the heavens, the heaven of heavens with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. Thou dost give life to all of them and the heavenly host bows down before Thee. Thou art the LORD God, Who chose Abram and brought him out from Ur of the Chaldees, and gave him the name Abraham…” Neh 9:6-7.

The most basic attribute of our biblical understanding of God is His unique distinction of Creator!  The book of Hebrews summarizes it profoundly, saying…

 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Heb. 11:3.

That means the miracle of creation is believable because it was conceived, ‘framed’ and spoken into existence from nothing but the all-powerful Word of the Creator God himself.

And we can’t force that understanding on anybody, can we?  It must be received by faith!  Understanding comes through the process of personal faith…  Afterall, students immersed in the dogma of evolutionism didn’t arrive at that understanding without hearing the words of their evolutionist teachers over and over again.  They may not be able to give you the scientific details why they believe it, but they are living out an unavoidable principle of the Bible.

Romans 10:17 tells us: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

If they hardly ever hear the word of God and are constantly subjected to the words of their atheistic textbooks, videos, and secular humanist teachers, what do you expect?  They’re going to have a perverse form of ‘faith’ in what they do hear.

And that’s why all true Christians in today’s society need to know how to…

… expose the top 3 absurd assumptions of evolution

You’ve probably seen evolutionist charts showing some kind of bogus “tree of life” with its bottom end of microscopic amoebas, topped by increasingly sophisticated creatures with the end result being humans at the very top of the chart.

… but you might not have seen how to expose the faulty arguments behind them.  Those arguments have deceived many students into thinking the Genesis record is unscientific.  In reality, all a person has to do is ask some logical questions to reveal the utter foolishness of evolutionist assumptions.

How do we determine what’s true? 

The Bible tells us to focus on things that are true, right? The Bible also tells us to “prove all things… and hold tight to what’s good” and presumably true.

As we discover and grow and learn, where do we get our knowledge?

Discovery of knowledge comes to us three ways… by personal experience, by teaching from people and by divine revelation.

If you think about the human eye for long, one thing becomes very clear.  Even Charles Darwin admitted it was “absurd to suppose the eye could evolve by natural selection.”

The Bible tells us plainly that God’s power and nature are clearly observed by such common miracles (Ro 1:20, Prov 20:12).

You’ve heard educated evolutionists insist that it took a long time… and that it was undirected by a Designer or God so it all happened by random chance… and of course, simple things got more complex – that’s evolution in a nutshell, isn’t it?

The 3 absurd assumptions of evolution we’re talking about here are: Extraordinary Deep Time, Random Chance, Increasing complexity

The two major fallacies of evolution required to get us to the bottom of the evolutionist tree of life are the absurd answers given by evolutionists to two big questions:

“How did the universe get here?” and “Where did life come from?”

You’ve heard those answers I’m sure.  Here they are:

Number One:The Big Bang; Number Two: Spontaneous Generation of Life.  

And don’t forget the simple questions you can ask to expose the ‘emptiness’ of those two supposed ‘scientific’ causes for the two most significant ‘effects’ that can lead anyone to a realization that there has to be a Creator. 

First… Did you ever see an explosion cause an increase in the orderliness and complexity of anything?

Second… Can you even imagine how to put life into chemicals, even if they are cleverly arranged into all the organs and systems of what would now be a now-dead corpse?

What’s really at the bottom of evolution teaching?  What’s seldom mentioned to unwary, impressionable young students, is that evolutionists believe in bigger miracles than Christians ever dreamed of.  They even admit it on occasion.  And the reason their misguided faith is really nothing less than sheer gullibility is because their miracles had no adequate cause to perform them.  Nature and common sense demonstrate scientifically that any result or ‘effect’ requires an adequate cause.

By definition, the Creator of the universe that exists independent of natural substances is the only adequate “cause” for the universe and for life. 

But, evolutionists are religiously committed to their insane ‘faith’ because they don’t want to acknowledge the reality of their Creator.  Don’t forget that.  That’s why the apostle Paul says in his letter to the Roman Christians in the first century: 

“..just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind…” (Romans 1:28).

Evolutionists are as religiously committed as any ‘believer’ ever was.  One of their outspoken authors, John Dunphy, wrote: “I am convinced that the battle for humankind’s future must be waged and won in the public-school classroom by teachers who correctly perceive their role as the proselytizers of a new faith: a religion of humanity that recognizes and respects the spark of what theologians call divinity in every human being.“

This is the ‘religion’ of SECULARISM.  What’s that?  The removal of God from human consideration.

How far have we come?  Ironically, most people in our country today don’t realize what motivated the pioneers of the new world.

‘The Old Deluder Satan Act’ of 1647, was the first public education law in North America. The General Court of the Massachusetts Bay colony required every township to hire a schoolmaster or establish a grammar school financed by the parents and the community to prevent the ‘one chief project of the old deluder, Satan, to keep men from the knowledge of the Scriptures’.

So how do we expose the 3 absurd assumptions of biological evolution?  Here’s the bottom line. 

Deep Time – Just ask…Does Time (millions and billions of years of it) provide a solution to evolution’s impossible dream?  Even if millions of years of existence for all of creation really happened, there’s one thing we absolutely know about the effects of time.  Just ask the question:

“Have you ever heard of the second law of thermodynamics?” All of nature is bound by this law.  What happens to any natural object or system as you watch it exist for a long time?  It degrades.  It wears out.  It falls apart.  It deteriorates. 

This is the law of “increasing Entropy.”   Evolutionists believe there ‘must be’ a natural way for the nagging problem of entropy to be overcome.  They just don’t have scientific proof yet.  They don’t want to face the music that only a miracle-working Creator is capable of creating a perfect world or restoring a fallen one in a “new heaven and new earth.” 

Chance – What are the chances of producing orderly sequences of understandable information and systems randomly? That’s all you have to ask. In their belief system that random chance is capable of evolving higher forms of life (or any kind of first life for that matter) evolutionists ignore a mountain of evidence.  It’s called …

…“mathematical probability statistics.” With modern analytical equipment we now know how extremely complex living systems really are.  We have no scientific excuse for believing in naturalistic evolution.

Ask, “What are the chances of letting random accidental processes produce even a simple system of information?”  Evidence of design should logically cause us to look for a designer.  To the evolutionist’s shame, he refuses to “allow a Divine foot in the door” no matter how ridiculous are his ideas about how intricately designed living beings came to be.

Increasing Complexity – When someone insists that random genetic mutations and natural selection are the process of evolving from ‘Goo’ to You by way of the zoo, you might want to ask them a simple question or two. 

Have you seen what mutations really produce?  They’re not pretty.  Thankfully they’re rare.  In 5,000 years, we’ve never scientifically seen what is agreed by everyone to be a single positive genetic mutation.  It’s clear there isn’t enough time for mutations to do their ‘magic’ even if you had billions of billions of years to arrive at a world full of amazing creatures.  And then ask…

How do you produce a system like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly by way of random mutations?  And when you consider that ‘natural selection’ is only capable of eliminating unfit offspring (the so-called “survival of the fittest”), it says nothing about the ‘arrival of the fittest’ in the first place.

You can’t get “more information” from “less information.”  Someone with intelligence and a high degree of technical skill has to ‘engineer’ biologically increasing complexity.  To believe that bacteria evolved into worms and worms evolved into reptiles and reptiles evolved into birds (and eventually man) is not supported by ANY facts of real observable science. 

Evolution is a belief system… totally devoid of honest scientific support.  Those who insist on it… do so only because they choose to reject the Creator.  Typically, they have distorted concepts about God and an attitude denying any accountability for their personal actions. 

So why do so many people choose to believe in evolution? 

The apostle Paul spelled it out very plainly in a prophetic word about the future that applies very well to what we see going on right before our eyes today.  In Paul’s second letter to the Christian believers in Thessalonica (2 Thes. 2:10-12) he wrote:

“…because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 

Would you say the belief in evolution qualifies for “a lie” that condemns them to their own just outcome if they choose to reject the truth of God?

Something that Thomas Sowell said about liars in politics seems to apply here too… “The fact that so many successful politicians are such shameless liars is not only a reflection on them, it is also a reflection on us. When the people want the impossible, only liars can satisfy.”

This is why Paul urged the Christian readers of the Bible book of Romans to present their bodies as a living sacrifice to God… “and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind…”

Transformation happens by a conscious devotion to the renewal of our minds with a steady input of truth. 

One honestly wanting the refreshment of streams of life-giving truth dares not linger at the restless sea of toxic lies.

If we are trying to help others in this transformation process, a big part of the job is to cast down their own imaginations that defy God.

2 Cor. 10:5 – “casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…”
